HTC has introduced a new phone under the Desire brand which is called HTC Desire 616.
Supposedly its only meant for the Asian market and will go on sale in India later this month. Let is enlighten you regarding what this phone is going to be about; it supports dual SIM operation and has a 1.4 GHz Octa core MediaTek processor. The phone includes a 5 inch display with 720 p.

Furthermore it sports an 8 MP primary camera along with a humble 2 MP front camera, which should be adequate for selfies, Skype, Viber etcetera. Moving on, it has 4 GB internal storage along with expandable memory with the use of a micro SD card.
The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat OS and thankfully not the relatively obsolete Jelly Bean. It also uses its own Sense 5.5 and Blinkfeed.
Interestingly HTC has announced the price of the device in Singapore which is $238. That seems quite right for a mid-range smartphone. The phone has been introduced after the plastic version of HTC’s flagship phone.
